This project in Birkby features bespoke internal glass panels installed along both the staircase and upper landing to create a striking yet practical design feature. Clear glass panels were used to maintain openness throughout the space, allowing light to flow freely between floors while providing a secure safety barrier.
The glass complements the textured timber feature wall, balancing warmth with a modern, minimalist finish. Discreet stainless steel fixings and a slim base channel ensure the panels sit neatly within the staircase structure without detracting from the overall design.
This installation demonstrates how internal glass stair and landing panels can enhance contemporary interiors, adding a sense of space, light and refinement while integrating seamlessly with existing architectural features.
